Nail and lash studio · Northgate

Hands that
get noticed.

Manicures, structured gel, fine-line art and lash sets, in a studio with real ventilation and a polish line that skips the ten worst ingredients. Appointment-first. The board by the door says when a chair is free.

The clean studio

The air is
the difference.

Most salons smell like a salon. Ours smells like the roaster downstairs. Every station pulls fumes down and away before they reach you, every tool arrives sealed, and nothing on the shelf carries the ten ingredients we decided not to argue about.

134°C

Hospital-grade sterilization

Metal tools are scrubbed, pouched, and run through a Class B autoclave after every single client. The pouch is opened at your chair. The log lives on the wall by the desk, and we like it when people read it.

12× / hr

Ventilated stations

Source-capture extraction at every nail station and a room that swaps its air twelve times an hour. Dust and gel fumes leave through the ceiling, not through you or the person painting you.

10-free

Non-toxic polish line

Our polish and gel line skips formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, and six more. It still holds a gloss for three weeks. It just does not come with a headache.

Pregnant, asthmatic, or just tired of the fumes? Say so when you book and we will seat you at the station nearest the window.

Three chairs,
three specialties.

    Mina Cho @mina.paints
    Nail art · Builder gel

Draws the fine lines. Twelve years in and still steadier than a ruler, with a weakness for negative space and a firm opinion on almond versus squoval. She will talk you out of the wrong shape, gently.

    Delphine Okoro @delphine.maps
    Lash mapping · Volume

Maps every set to the eye in front of her before a single fan goes on. Cat, doll, open, or wispy, but always yours. Nobody leaves Delphine's chair wearing someone else's lashes.

    Sasha Reyes @sasha.gel
    Gel · French · Pedicures

The cleanest fast gel set in the building and the one people book for the wedding. Ask for the reversed French; it photographs better than the classic and lasts just as long.

New sets go up most weeks. Bring a screenshot, or bring nothing at all and trust the chair.

Booking notes

How we run
the book.

  • 01

    Appointment-first

Text us your name, the service, and two times that suit you. We answer within the hour while we are open, and the chair is yours the moment you say yes.

  • 02

    The walk-in board

When a chair opens up, it goes on the board by the door and on our story. First name, first served. Most days that means manicures and fills. Full lash sets, almost never.

  • 03

    Running late

Fifteen minutes of grace, no questions. Past that, we may shorten the service so the next person stays on time. Cancel by 9pm the night before and there is nothing to pay. Same-day is half the service, and we will still be glad to see you next time.

  • 04

    Lash deposits

Full sets hold a $40 deposit when you book, taken off the bill on the day. It travels with you if you move the appointment with a day's notice.
